What is CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)?
In computing, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a stylesheet language used to describe the presentation of a document written in a markup language. Its most common application is to style web pages written in HTML and XHTML, but the language can be applied to any kind of XML document, including SVG and XUL. The CSS specifications are maintained by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Must the reciprocal link be from the same site as I suggest?
No, if you wan't to link from another site you own you are free to
do that.

Why wasn't my reciprocal link accepted?
The most common reason is that the link isn't a direct link, but redirects. It can also be because the link wasn't found on the page it was supposed to be.
The link must be in one of these two formats (only first part of the HTML is written):
- <a href="http://www.strictlycss.com">
- <a href="http://www.strictlycss.com" target="_blank">
The reason for this is that the link will automatically be checked
periodically to avoid abuse.

Why isn't my site in the main category despite of that my reciprocal link was approved?
This is caused by that the automatic control wasn't able to detect
the link to Strictly CSS. The link could have been removed or your
site was down when the check was done. Your site will automatically
be listed again in the main category next time the automatic control
detects the link.

How can I be a selected web site on the front page
That selection is made automatically based on when the site was registered,
and some other stuff we won't go in detail about.

Why do I see traces from Strictly CSS in my log files (User agent)?
Strictly CSS has some functions which can result in traces from the
User agent belonging
to Strictly CSS. If you have registered a site in the directory it
will automatically be checked for its existence periodically. This
is done to ensure that Strictly CSS has the highest possible quality,
and don't contains dead links. This function will identify itself
with the following User agent:
Strictly CSS. ( http://www.strictlycss.com/information/faq.asp#useragent
)
You can also check Server
Header for other links and web sites at Strictly CSS. This solution
will identify itself with this User agent:
Strictly CSS. User IP: Your IP ( http://www.strictlycss.com/tools/check-server-header.asp
)
